A Demolevel with 22 new Objects Compatible with Darkloader, support for German.

Readme.
Welcome to Creature Clash 2, for Thief 2. This is a glorified version of one of the first things I ever did with Dromed back in the Thief 1 days. Have fun. There are no more goals, and it's not as polished as Creature Clash 1 (for Thief 1) but all the elements of fun should still be there. I didn't label the switches, but check the map and you'll probably be able to put it together. Hope you all have fun! Don't take it too seriously.

If a guard starts investigating, simply use a spell or the whistle, he should return to his origin place immediately like nothing happened. It works on AIs standing around as well as on patrolling AIs. Remember the mission is complete dark (When they see you, the items won't work). They are just created for avoiding alertness caused by noise.

This demo is for Thief 2 only and runs from Dromed 2 (patched version). The files allow you to utilise Craymen and Bugbeasts in your missions.
I hope that this file will become like a chain letter: I believe that from this gamesys, we can actually add additional creatures to extend the pool of selec T1 critters for D2. Take this gamesys and y to add to it. Pass it along and encourage others to do the same. Hopefully, in the end, we'll end up with the entire T1 creatures imported into D2 all in one gamesys, rather than seperate gamesys for every creature. I think it will be more efficient this way...let's keep the Thief universe immortal and dynamic by constantly experimenting, implementing and sharing :)

To help you make your decision, we would like to invite you to use our Octagon of Challenge for your entertainment. Please feel free to spend as much time as you would like there. Please consider our offer. If you have any questions, feel free to contact any Keeper.

Athene Thief is a demo mission, what contains two demo levels showing a Athene temples' and Roman Houses' architecture. Actually it was made for part of my history essay on spring 2000.
Important to know: At first I made these demo levels for Thief Gold. I got little problems with compatiblicity with Thief(1). Added txtures from TG doesn't work well in game mode. Problem is that you can't see the new textures until you get enough near of it! Sange bug...

Ever get sick and tired of Garrett not being able to jump a gap and then he falls and dies? Then this mission's for you; it's time to teach Garrett a lesson. Step through his door and see what teacher has in store (hey that ryhmes!). Check to see how much damage Garrett takes afterwards. He will never miss a jump again. Thanks to Osterman for some advice on creating this incredibly simple level.Look for my serious fan mission which should be RELEASED this winter! It will of course be a vast improvement upon this level. I got the idea for The Drop after Garrett failed to climb a certain ledge in Bonehoard and fell to a horrible, horrible death. But it was quite funny, hence The Drop.

I was resting in a bar, the Dancing Crayman, tired and irritated after the prison debacle, when I somehow offended Mortan, the town drunk. He gave me a smack in the jaw, and when I came to, all my equipment and loot where gone. Knowing Mortan, he'll be selling the stuff for far less than it's worth. Better stop him.
Our first level. We wanted a level where you have to buy and sell items to get the ones you want, thus giving the economy of the city a real boost, until you take its purse when it isn't looking. We did that, then added a real neat level, and a joke, and another joke, and here we are!

It has come to my attention that a certain Lord Bouroughs has managed to get hold of a collection of smelters from the hammers. He is using these to manufacture certain, illegal items including money. I have tracked down a small area in Lord Bourough's estates which houses a smelter making some lockpicks. I'll slip in and make some for a thieves discount. I have a contact who can give me the location of the main mint, but he has high demands. He used to be a guard there and knows that a guard there called Marcus knows some information on a valuable item, he wants that item, as well as a rare junipry plant which is rumoured to be in garden there. Also he wants the hand of glory which is in a guard hut in the compound. He has also told me of a bracelet which a guard has with incredible powers and an old rusted mechinary room with a magical artifact, these are mine to keep, if I can find them.
Demo Includes:
  • smelter
  • teleport spell book
  • teleport marker settinf armlet
  • sleeping herbs

Alright, alright, I hear you from here. What!? There's no rain in Thief 1! Well, you're right. there isn't. But there ARE particle effects that can look like rain. That said, here goes. Bear with me, because it's my first tutorial for anything. I found it by buggering with the particle effects while trying to make a fountain. I assume you've already made your starting stuff.

I always wondered if it would not be possible to create bend walls, by using something other then these horrible 10-sides circles. This is just to show you that there is more to DromEd than saight walls and boring right corners. I hope that I can soon generate that stuff with a script, but for now I just copy&pasted that level together from the first wedges. Hope you get some new ideas. Some stuff looks very interestingly like Quake... :)

I have a simple job planned for this evening. Break into a guarded mansion, steal another fat noble mans priceless inket and leave quietly... wait a minute, that isn't it. You were deposited at the front gate of a small mansion. Your only way out is to find and grab the Golden Skull placed some where in the level, but first you want to do a little investigating. This place has three main rooms, conveniently they are numbered in order of visitation, read the gold plaques before you go in and do as they ask. The final room, room 3, is the whole purpose of this place. Enjoy, oh, I almost forgot to mention there is a secret fourth room, it's the one with the Gold Skull, you can't get out without it. It might be worth your while to get out, Right? Then again maybe not.

Readme.
A small mission...very small. One room with a view of the outside, including snow. Garrett is enjoying the season, and over the year has manged to acquire an excess amount of loot for decorating. Also, some people in the area were kind enough to give him presents. Curl up in front of the fire, admirer his equipment, or use the picture of Constantine for target practice. Kick back and relax, because you've earned it!
