By: Komag (Ben Ramsey) Plot Description: A woman named Victoria has offered me a job to steal a sword from a nobleman named Constantine, but in my preparations for the hiest I heard word of a giant tree with valuable magical healing fruit which grows in Constantine's orchard. I've decided to put off the sword job for another night, and steal into the high wall orchard to grab some of the fruits for myself, as they will probably bring in a pretty penny on the street. Basso has supplied me with a basic map he drew from information he bribed from an old guard who somehow used to "work" there - in a tree? Anyway, since I've heard the tree is rather huge, I'm glad the Keepers made me master the art of the rope arrow, which should come in quite handy on this little heist.

By: Pershin Sergey V. (mad god) Plot Description: Switcher, the friend of mine came to me with the strange request. He lost the contact with his son Mike, who is a memeber of the Mage's Guild. And he is afraid that there something happened, since before that Mike regulary visited him. He will pay for this and also has provided me with some information. First, he gave me a map (oh, at least that's how he calls that worthless piece of paper), second he told me about 'Ancient Crown' - a valuable item which buried somewhere in that forest where mage's guild in. He said that some fellows before me tried to find it,.. but nobody returned back. So, I guess I must be carefull there. Also he said something about magical Sceptre and that he knows some people very interested in it. In this case I should try to locate and extract it (of course only if mages are gone). And of course I'll take all the loot that might be there. I think It will be interesting jorney.

Comments by Reviewer: Comments by Shrubbery / Myoldnamebroke: • Pros: Great sneaky play, brilliant technical accomplishments • Cons: Had to reload far too often, can be very, very irritating • Bottom Line: If you can put up with the problems and stick with it, this level provides some of the best gameplay I've encountered in a FM.

By: Toni Hollming (Trimfect) Plot Description: "Remember when Garrett stole that scepter from fat Lord Bafford? Well I have a place for it in my circle, and I need you to get it for me." -Master Nightfall Additional Comments: Idea was to make a more flexible map than the normal Thief levels. Whole level is a single building that you can get in various ways. Its up to you to decide how and from where you go in.

Comments by Reviewer: Nightfall: This level is on par with the missions in Thief was far as quality, and may actually be funner than a few of them! Gathering at the Bar is a fabuless mission! If you only download one fanmade mission, make it be this one!

By: Alan Miles (Rugball) Plot Description: Footsteps approach, you hear a futile plea for help and a brutal murder occurs just a heartbeat away. Thus begins your adventure in the Thieves Quarter, a decidedly bad neighborhood.
The slain man has information about the Mage's Medallion that was stolen from Ramirez.
The thief responsible has been taken into custody by the Sheriff whose rise to power can be
traced to his relationship to Ramirez. You must locate the medallion and take it the owner of
the Laughing Skull Tavern, Bartok, twin brother of Farkus, your supplier.
You will be rewarded for your trouble but another favor will be asked -- recover the
Builder's Chisel. You, of course, cannot allow Ramirez to use his influence to run this part of
town. Teach him a lesson by helping yourself to the contents of his treasury...

By: Tern Plot Description: Me first effort...a small-medium sized level with various elements and surprises. Feedback of all kinds is welcome, either by email or in the Editor's Guild Forum. I'm considering working on an .avi briefing; please let me know if it would even be worth it :) In the meantime turn out the lights, crank the speakers, enjoy yourself, explore freely, and don't forget to read the scroll you start out with.

By: Garett Choy (Kung Fo Gecko) Plot Description: A Hammerite keep holds the largest collection of books in the land; and a particular book you've set out to retrieve. You've always wondered what was inside the keep's mysterious tower. While you're there, you may also want to recover a friend's personal item and the gold skull of St. Bentano. This is a medium sized mission where the gameplay style of choice is sneaking, but is appropriate for all styles of play. Also great for rope arrow lovers.

|
Hammer Score: 6.0 of 10 |
Comments by Reviewer: CEC UA: Kung Fu Gecko brings us this gem of a level, shattering many preconcieved notions about the quality of user made levels. Running at a near par with many actual thief missions, The Library has something for almost everyone. Grab your little tCoSaS library card and check this level out, and we promise no fines for late returns...in fact, keep it.

Comments by Reviewer: CEC UA: Well taffers, its time to shave thy head, grab a brown throw rug, and say thy prayers, 'cause you're off to a monastery. The Monastery of St Fera. A great level for sneakers, and a decisive victory on the camel front. Go forth and declare that ye shalt download this level, play it, and declare it good. Just don't forget your fedora and whip...you're gonna need it.

Comments by Second Opinion Reviewer: Tolen: All in all there isn't much new to this level except the various enemies at the end, but it is really good...hey, I'm quite busy and yet played through it twice, so that should say it all. Have fun.

ShadowofLordRothchestLoot.htm |
By: Anthony Huso Plot Description: It's been three weeks since you sold Constantine's Sword with the understanding that you could always steal it back. The idea was to pay off all your debts with the cash from the sale-which you've already accomplished. The pursuant intent, of course, was to get your weapon back plus interest from whoever was rich enough to buy it in the first place. That was then....

The Problem : the guard of the main gate of the temple is locked from inside so find a solution to force him come outside,or find another way.

|
Hammer Score: 6.0 of 10 |
Comments by Reviewer: KFGecko: Rose of Bantry is a mission for the psycho-killer thieves who want a challenge; while the rest of the thief community should accept this job with caution. The level has a few highlights in architecture and stealth is important; although violence is pretty much unavoidable. Overall, Rose of Bantry stands in defiance to the ego. Download this level when you're in the mood for the challenge.

Other: Because this mission is un-winnable with the current level of bugs, I would have chosen to make it a bronze hammer mission. However the reviewer disagreed, and that's that. Play at your own risk! - Nightfall |

By: Chibboleth Plot Description: You must infiltrate the mountain stronghold of an evil cult, the Inverted Hammer. Hopefully this will be the first in a series. Additional Comments: To my knowledge, this is the first user-made mission with undeads.

|
Hammer Score: 5.0 of 10 |
Comments by Reviewer: CEC UA: A new level for the demon in all of us has arrived, and "Odium" is its name. Take a stroll into the depth of a Salvador Dali nightmare, a walk into the dreams of Vincent Price. A fairly well made level with a very dark twist, and a very good plot. Just bring along some spare Boxers....could get a little messy in there.
|
|
Hammer Score: 5.0 of 10 |
Comments by Second Opinion Reviewer: Tolen: This map is great on the one hand but sucks on the other. If the author would have invested 4 or 5 hours more to take care of the glitches and put in some sound effects, it would have been a great map.

By: Caleb Callaway(Despot) Plot Description: There is a rich man that lives in the country side near the City who has earned a reputation for being hard, but honest. A classic rags-to-riches story, in fact. He has stayed clear of all political struggles and "shady" deals. He is know as Gerome of The Woodlands, after his home which he has styled "The Woodlands". No one to your knowledge has ever had anything against him. Until now. You have been contacted by a man named Sychter who said he was willing to pay well for incriminating evidence against this man. You have no idea what Sychter will achieve by this, however, he has paid you half the agreed price already, and you wouldn't want to be on his bad side. He seems to be more influential then he is saying. Additional Comments: Note: this mission uses an object from Thief Gold, so if you own Thief-Dark Project, you need to download Datoyminaytah's TG patch.
