Additional Comments: This mission is not meant to be complicated. There is no huge mystery to unlock, no major objectives to hurdle. It's a mission meant for people to have fun climbing the rooftops of Dayport, snooping everywhere the can find, and stealing loot galore.

Beside him, a hooded man stands, La Bourrique undoubtedly, L'Arsene’s faithful lieutenant. They have both been waiting for their prisoner to wake up, to impose their humiliating victory on him.

By: Pete Willhite (Krush) Plot Description: I'm about out of cash again. Sheriff Mosley made sure I got some decent reward money for getting rid of Karras. After she explained to the nobles that they would have all been turned into piles of rust without me, several of them were more than happy to contribute to the Garrett Retirement Fund. Unfortunately, some bad bets on frogbeast races wiped out most of my savings. I could have gone back to stealing from petty merchants without trouble, but I did something stupid. I got drunk and tried to break into the Baron's palace. Long story short, I ended up in a cell. Since the City owed me a debt of thanks, I didn't get a hand chopped off. This time. Mosley made it very clear to me that she's done looking the other way when it comes to my nighttime activities. I think I'd better get out of the City for a while. I'll go see how my old friend Roderick's doing over in Stonewarden. He's settled down with a girl and quit thieving. I'll see if they'll rent me a room for a month or two...

By: Hidden in shadows Plot Description: The city sleeps. A nocturnal breeze blows up and down along the narrow streets of the docks, whistling gently. Garrett has stolen the garmyth, a mysterious gem from the other side of the oceans. Little is known of the garmyth except that it has been gone for a long time and now suddenly reappeared during the most untimely conditions. Whispers and worried glances are exhanged and those few who know of its secrets stand vigilant and pray for salvation. It looks like I'll have to visit some old friends. Tonight's job went well enough but my gut feeling tells me something is not right. Last night I did not have time to stop and ponder but during my long walk there has been plenty of it. With the garmyth in my pocket I've started to hear things. First time was when I grabbed it from that crate and the voices have followed me ever since; haunting me. Time and time again I told myself that it was just my imagination but deep within I knew I acted in denial to cover my worst fears. I need to find out more about this so-called garmyth and learn of its pitfalls. I could just throw it away but then the all the effort would be for nothing and that would be a shame if I'm mistaken. There should be a 'place' just north of here where I can find the information I seek. When I have found what I'm looking for I need to leave the district to the west. The gates are probably locked this time of night so I'll have to procure a key. There should be one in the district warden's office on the top of the large warehouse. I truly hope I'm wrong else I might yet regret the day I embarked on this dire venture.

Ever since that fateful night so long ago it's ALWAYS been a pleasure of relieve him of his baubles and leave him scratching his head as to how one man always seems to get the best of him. Ha! He can hire all the guards he wants. He can add Mechanist security machines. Been there. Done that. So when I heard he had just acquired a new summer home in the country...well you get the idea. The only problem is finding out where it's located. I was talking to Basso yesterday at The Stonemarket Inn and he suggested the nearby law office of Dewey, Cheatem & Howe as a good place to begin snooping. The firm has represented Bafford in the past and it's a good bet they'll have information on the new home and its whereabouts in case they need to contact him. I was busy last night with a lucrative contract so Basso offered to fill in for me. I guess married life is getting a little dull and he was looking for some excitement. I should have knocked him cold then and there for even suggesting it. I've said before that Basso's not much of a sneak. Turns out Basso was nabbed red-handed picking the lock of the law firm's door. Now he's locked in a cell in a nearby jail. Oh well...at least this time it's The City Watch that has him and not the Hammerites. No sense in waiting. It's time to begin.
