Comfort from old wine cellars has been easy enough to find, and loot at the expense of my rich neighbors still pays the bills. Is this not the easy life I always wanted with no world in need of rescue? Lisha says this darkness descended on me when my old Hammer eye gave out. But what good is the new mechanical eye the Hammers have waiting for me? Even when I had two perfectly normal human eyes I wasn't any richer than I am tonight!
Yet, as I write this, I am beginning to feel a shift in the air ...and not simply the early Autumn wind I hear blowing like it can't wait to get home to Old Man Winter. Perhaps it's just another crazy dream, but something keeps saying that my fortunes are about to change ...that the BIG one is just around the corner ...where I'll finally know the true comfort and peace of mind that comes with becoming a genuinely wealthy man!

By: John Denison Plot Description: I recently learned from overhearing the thieves guild that Lord James moved into a well guarded mansion up in the peaks of the mountains. This should be a very lucrative spot for supporting my living habits. In addition to his vast wealth, its said that he has two ancient precursor masks that can certainly pay for themselves if they were put into the right hands - mainly my own. Some rumours have been floating around about a gold skull in Lord James' possession. I think tonight is a good night to break in and make a permanent withdrawl.

Now he has gotten involved with the worst scoundrel in the city. This Kohan is always a thorn in my side because he and his bloodhound Powel hunt down many thieves. It's only a question of time until he comes after me. Odi invested 3,000 in gold with this scammer to buy into Kohan's paraffin factory. Now Kohan supposedly doesn't know anything about it. Odi was nearly killed when he tried to find out about his investment on his own.
