By: mopgoblin Plot Description: Your main objective is to obtain loot. There is also a "return home" objective. On "Easier", there is an optional no kill objective, and on "Harder", there is an enforced no kill/3 knockout limit objective. The limit on knockouts was added because the mission is still too easy without it. There are a couple of additional objectives on "Silly", but you can see those for yourself in-game. By: Telliamed (Tom N Harris) Plot Description: Being a thief in The City has never been better these days. If only because it's never been worse to be an honest tradesmen. The Hammerites are back, that old religion you thought had gone out of style with buckles on shoes. But while they entice the nobles with new machinery and electric lights, there is another ancient darkness creeping over The City.
Such things don't concern you however; not yet, at least. Right now you're just an average thief, trying to make a name for yourself in the shadowy underground. And you've been asked to do a favor.

By: Uncadonego (Don Adam) Plot Description: The Acolyte? I hate that name! Call me what I am! I'm a thief! An uncommon thief, granted, but a thief nonetheless. I steal. That's what I do. Get used to it, I'm not going to change. If it's not nailed down, kiss it goodbye. Take this Escarpment Gallery, for instance. Word is the curator has some priceless items he's recently acquired, but I'm sure my fence could put a price on them. This guy's only got himself to blame for losing them, advertising it and all... Tonight, I'm going to be who I am and do what I do. The gates are locked, and the place is guarded, but I know how to hop over a wall, and I need some practice on guards anyway... BurricksHeadInnLoot.rtf |
By: Yandros (Russ Robbins) Plot Description: As usual, the rent is due... but this time I also owe a few shopkeepers for some equipment I had to buy on credit, so I'd better go for a bigger haul than usual. There's a rustic little inn I've hit a couple of times before called The Burrick's Head. The decor is upscale, so there should be plenty of trinkets and valuables lying about... not to mention what the guests bring with them, which should be significant since the inn caters to the nobility. By: Maria Ström (Morrgan) Plot Description: "The trouble with pagans is, there's so many sides to choose from. A few days ago one of them showed up at my door, and I should have closed it on him then and there. His tribe and another have been at each other's throats, and before the conflict worsens my pleasant pagan friend wants to get some reconnaissance. If you would seek peace, prepare for war, as they say.
"Nothing too taxing it seemed: map out their warrens and learn their defences. He
bought my interest with a bauble, a fine ruby that should bring a twinkle to the
fence's eye. And, thought I, a little fresh air would do me good...(more)

By: Caradavin Plot Description: I was sleeping like a baby when the door burst open to my new apartment. Suddenly, I was under a net and being transported to who knows where. Damn Mechanists. Come to find out, I was arrested for stealing some meaningless trinkets from the stuffy Lord Mortimor, that fat slob is gonna get it when I get outta here. Anyway, I seem to be in yet another prison facility. I overheard some Mech call it a Volcano. That would explain the heat that seems to radiate from the floor. Today, I attempted to escape but was thwarted when the prisoner across the hall called me out. As punishment, they threw me out in this "backyard" in the rain. As if that affects me at all. What the...? I thought I heard something... Additional Comments: FM Contest 4 entry

By: Thorin Oakenshield (Mike Eyre) Plot Description: The Keepers never embrace a cause. Embracing a cause would be to lose their balance. It supposedly transforms humans into something else!...(more) Additional Comments: FM Contest 4 entry
