Explanation:
As the sound propagation system in thief III will undoubtedly be good, how about part of a level where you have to rely on that alone?
Points to bear in mind:
Would obviously take away the visual aspect, which would decrease the immersion slightly.
Makes the game much more difficult... the player can easily get hopelessly lost, especially if they bump up against something that isn't a wall, and they think it is.
This could be good, but only if it suited a section of the mission. It would have to be very clear to the player exactly what they needed to listen to to guide themselves through, and it couldn't lengthy. Probably it would work best if it was only one of several alternate routes, or if it related to a side quest.The excellent SF movie on the other hand is a definite must see ;)
