Hagen at CityWatch a few days ago.While you were there, you overheard Lady Rumford file a missing person report concerning Jeneviere. Basso and Jeneviere's wedding isn't for three more days. If they return her to Lady Rumford, her indentured servitude contract will still be in force, and she will likely be locked up again. The CityWatch precinct in Basso's part of town will no doubt have received a message with a description of Jeneviere. If you could sneak into that precinct and find the message, you could replace it with a fake message containing a false description of Jeneviere...(more)

Get used to it, I'm not going to change. If it's not nailed down, kiss it goodbye. Take this Escarpment Gallery, for instance. Word is the curator has some priceless items he's recently acquired, but I'm sure my fence could put a price on them. This guy's only got himself to blame for losing them, advertising it and all... Tonight, I'm going to be who I am and do what I do. The gates are locked, and the place is guarded, but I know how to hop over a wall, and I need some practice on guards anyway... James David Figalily has a new exhibit on the west end at the Fembound Gallery. You just can't resist easy pickings, and plan on hitting his new establishment tonight. Additional Comments: This mission is not meant to be complicated. There is no huge mystery to unlock, no major objectives to hurdle. It's a mission meant for people to have fun climbing the rooftops of Dayport, snooping everywhere the can find, and stealing loot galore.

By: Vogelfrei Plot Description: It's been raining for days. A storm that seems to have no end. Just when you think it can’t go on any longer or fall any harder, it becomes worse. Rumours tell of the docks overflowing yesterday, and still the water keeps rising. For the first time in over one hundred years they have to shut the South Quarter's flood protection doors. I've never seen anything like this. This cannot be a natural storm. People have sealed their doors and windows and are plugging every hole in a vain attempt to make their homes waterproof. Too bad the houses become thief proof at the same time. A few days ago I almost broke my neck when a rain soaked gust swept me off a roof. This weather is really starting to hurt business. The mages have sent me a letter. Although I do not like their tone, what it says has made me curious. I think I will pay a visit to the man they speak of. By: Wes Morrison (Datoyminaytah) Plot Description: This mission is a prequel to the missions in "Thief: The Dark Project", and is set just after Garrett has left the Keepers. (Between the training mission and Bafford's.) Garrett has found out about a gem owned by a town merchant and has decided it will make a good target for his first night out after leaving the Keepers. Additional Comments: This is not a typical Thief mission. There is not a lot to steal, not a lot of guards to evade, just a story to follow, some complex conversations, a puzzle or two, and a few surprises. This mission is in fact a setup for a sequel, which will happen the next morning.

Comments by Reviewer: Level review by CEC UA: While this level shows complex conversations as they have never been done before (including recieving an item from the AI) there is nothing in this level that makes it what would be called a typical "mission" indeed most of the players time is spent searching for the only building that contains anything new.
