By: MaJiC (Mark Cole) Plot Description: With the Mechanists finished after Karras's failed plot, their collection of arts and treasures at the Tower Gallery in North Quarter has been sold off to wealthy nobles across the city. Only one piece remains: the portrait titled 'Father's Pride'. Thankfully it's one of the most valuable paintings in the City and now it should be one of the easiest to steal because the Mechanists have moved out of the Tower Gallery and its surrounding fort leaving only a small group of poorly paid guards.
An old 'friend' of yours, Annie, is seeing one of the guards, Kenny, and has
aquired a map for you. Kenny is on front gate duty tonight and, knowing he likes
his drink, she has delivered some 'special' wine to him which should have him
snoozing like a baby by the time you arrive. On her last visit to Kenny she
smuggled in and hid your bulkier equipment so that you don't get any unwanted
attention on your way to the Gallery. And all she asks in return is that you don't
kill Kenny. Well, that plus twenty percent of your haul! ... (more)

Comments by Reviewer: CEC UA: A new level for the demon in all of us has arrived, and "Odium" is its name. Take a stroll into the depth of a Salvador Dali nightmare, a walk into the dreams of Vincent Price. A fairly well made level with a very dark twist, and a very good plot. Just bring along some spare Boxers....could get a little messy in there.

A classic rags-to-riches story, in fact. He has stayed clear of all political struggles and "shady" deals. He is know as Gerome of The Woodlands, after his home which he has styled "The Woodlands". No one to your knowledge has ever had anything against him. Until now. You have been contacted by a man named Sychter who said he was willing to pay well for incriminating evidence against this man. You have no idea what Sychter will achieve by this, however, he has paid you half the agreed price already, and you wouldn't want to be on his bad side. He seems to be more influential then he is saying. Additional Comments: Note: this mission uses an object from Thief Gold, so if you own Thief-Dark Project, you need to download Datoyminaytah's TG patch.

They both worked with Lord Gervasius on his archery games every year and there were whispered rumors that the games were no longer "for sport" with these two involved. But I'll let Garret explain: "Lord Gervasius is one of the wealthiest men in the world and he loves archery. For many years, he has invited the best archers in the world to travel to his Archery Games to compete for elaborate, and expensive, prizes. There is great competition to be recognized as the best archer in the world and Lord Gervasius plays this like a real showman. In recent years, this competition has grown to include many offbeat archery games and contests, and the games extend over several days. Crowds flock to these events--Lord Gervasius earns a lot wealth and influence as a result. Although it's not cheap to get in, every arena seat is always filled. More than just popular, these games are a spectacle for the fans who are drawn here. I've been and it is impressive.... (more)

By: Steven Hindley Plot Description: An older part of the city near the docks, your map is out of date having been scrounged out of the city museum. Normally you wouldn't be able to get into this part of the city as it is usually heavily guarded, but the keepers have a job for you to do, and have distracted the guards, getting you in to this place, and you might be able to do some extra thievery on the side. Plus this is the only route you've been able to discover that takes you to the abandoned Trickster's Chimney Gem mine.

It tends to get frazzling though as most of the time you are searching for this and that. If you are already on your last nerve, please, skip this one... else your mouse may indeed become a bat as you throw it through the nearest window.

By: Wrichards Plot Description: Episode 2: Tower Of Illusion, After escaping the bear pits, you managed to get back the rosary beads. You race throught the streets with the guards hot on your heels and make it to one of the towers suspected entrances. The tower is known to be a training ground for Hammer priests and also contains the Oblivion Gateway. Loot the temple, exit through the Oblivion Gate without killing the guards.

Garrett is sent out to capture a mechanist servant for Viktoria to analyse and to hopefully learn more of Karrass's plans.The mission involves a quick trip into a small mansion then onto Viktoria's Agent's house on easy, but on expert level you also have to rob an art Gallery, break into the local Armoury and a nobles mansion to find ut how his Burricks have been performing so well. Additional Comments: This is sort of a Mission 14b. I thought the plot of Thief 2 jumped too much at the end, with Garrett being in the dark for the whole game and then suddenly knowing everything at the start of the last mission. So I'm hoping to create a steadier plot "curve".

By: Schwaa (J. Knez) Plot Description: Garrets original mission was to break into the New Order of the Mechanists Prison and steal Sherriff Truart's Silver Cog. This is a medal awarded to him by Brother Karras for his devoted work for the Master Builder. It sounded risky ( and turned out to be) but it paid well so Garret went for it. Bad mistake. Now it is time to escape, luckily with a little help from the inside.

By: James Slade Plot Description: For many years now sailers have found port in a storm by the mysterious glint of light that appear from "Sansiros" isle, A slab of rock about half a mile offshore, which was a refuge for Hammerite priests in earlier wars. Though thought abandoned for many years, a recent dispatch to a High Hammerite priest intercepted by the Keepers bore the old Stamp of "Sansiros" . Indeed the letter metioned the name Levius, the first of the Keepers to break ranks for a more profitable world.
The Keepers have mused that "sansiros" may be the secret Headquarters of the Temple of Forgers, otherwise known as the Hammerite Secret Police. Rumour has it that they have files on everyone..... I have 'borrowed' a Hot Air Ballon from my friend Ramirez, I'm sure he will miss it.....

Now Im done with thieving but he said that the mechanists had there eye on this thing as well. Its told to re circuit the robots power and make them un stoppable when activated, and now once again im in the middle of these damn mechanists. he said if hes not back within 6 hours I am to go see what happened, well its been weeks since ive seen him and I hear rumors of the mechansists ready to raid the place for that thing.... now I have no choice but to go find it so I can be done with these mechanists once and for all."
