Plot Description: With the Mechanists finished after Karras's failed plot, their collection of
arts and treasures at the Tower Gallery in North Quarter has been sold off to
wealthy nobles across the city. Only one piece remains: the portrait titled
'Father's Pride'. Thankfully it's one of the most valuable paintings in the City
and now it should be one of the easiest to steal because the Mechanists have moved
out of the Tower Gallery and its surrounding fort leaving only a small group of
poorly paid guards.
An old 'friend' of yours, Annie, is seeing one of the guards, Kenny, and has
aquired a map for you. Kenny is on front gate duty tonight and, knowing he likes
his drink, she has delivered some 'special' wine to him which should have him
snoozing like a baby by the time you arrive. On her last visit to Kenny she
smuggled in and hid your bulkier equipment so that you don't get any unwanted
attention on your way to the Gallery. And all she asks in return is that you don't
kill Kenny. Well, that plus twenty percent of your haul! ... (more)
Appeal: This mission was designed specificaly for my six year old son who loves
watching me play Thief and wanted a not-too-scary and not-too-difficult mission to
play. My ten year old son also enjoyed it! Here it is with more challenging options
(for you grown-ups!) under 'Normal' and 'Hard' levels.
You can customise this level yourself for your kids. The reasons why and the how-to
are at the bottom of this text file. Enjoy!

Comments by Reviewer:
Pros: A mission designed for children (a rarity, to say the least). Solid gameplay and architecture, along with lots of small, endearing touches.
Cons: Not at all challenging, some of the humor is puerile (but that's the point, isn't it?).
Bottom Line: If you have kids, you might try this mission on them. However, as a full-fledged fan mission, it's only so-so, and no challenge for experienced players.
