Allow Designer to Customise PathFinding
Explanation:
Allow the designer to customise the results of path finding, or at least influence them. This could be achieved by allowing the specification of 'No-Go' zones, or 'Heavily used' zones, which would then influence pathfinding.
Points to bear in mind:
A similiar facility could be used to create objects which influence path finding, but do not actually exist (i.e. a staircase in pathfinding terms, but does not exist realistically)
This is ALSO ALREADY part of the Unreal Warfare Engine! Although I cant say the same about the above alternitive idea. I think the game engine handles that part on its own.
Already done in the Unreal Engine
