Explanation:

If the engine allowed dromeders to simulate the old movie trick of painting an elaborate background on a piece of glass to provide elaborate back-drops eg a roccocco ceiling of a mansion, a detailed cityscape stretching into the distance etc.

Points to bear in mind:

Good PointThis would be a good workaround on the large detailed spaces vs polycount balance.

Point to bear in mindAll it would need is the ability to import a large JPEG or AVI onto a flat surface, and locate it in an inaccessible area of the screen. (Complicated billboards?)
