Option to remove health bar

Explanation:

For some players, the health shield icons are unnecessary, and only take up space on the screen -- detracting from immersion. Include an option to switch the health display off.

Points to bear in mind:

I think the health indicator would be much less annoying if it were better designed. Since it theoretically indexes how Garrett feels, it's reasonable to have access to the information. I suppose the ideal though would be to have his state of health indicated by gameplay consequences, e.g. movement rate, breathing sounds, in extreme cases a blood trail... that would sure inspire me to stock up on health potions!
