Remove Breath Potions
Explanation:
Eliminate breath potions from the game. Such extraneous advantages defeat the danger of staying submerged for too long, as well as the drama of franticly searching for a way back up to the surface in desperate situations.
Points to bear in mind:
Garrett already posesses quite an expertise in holding his breath for prolongued periods; FACT: he doesn't actually need breath potions in any of the existing missions -- from Thief I/Gold and II
combined -- if the player is quick enough.
Would simplify Garrett's inventory by leaving less -stuff- to clutter up his equipment, which would result in a lighter, less-bulky, and less visible load.
The forums saw the idea of a blowgun doubling as a snorkel - only useful near the surface though.
