Coins

Explanation:

Allow the player to drop coins. When Guards see the coins they, as they are greedy, bend down to pick them up - at which point the player can blackjack them. Of course, smart guards would be suspicous if a coin appeared.

Points to bear in mind:

Garrett is a thief, who in the course of the game will pick up lots of coins. This would make such a trick very easy to perform.
