Staff

Explanation:

A 6" oak staff , fire-hardened and bound with metal bands. Can be used to knock down a number of guards , knock out even an alerted guard with a critical head hit , or to pole vault.

Points to bear in mind:

It could very well replace the blackjack...

It doesn't seem very likely that something only 6" long could be used for vaulting.
