Explanation:

Either instead, or in addition, give Garrett a crossbow. This could either be an asthetic change, or the crossbow would have a slower rate of fire, further range and better accuracy.

Points to bear in mind:

Mmmmmmm... a crossbow... good idea, but I don't think Garrett should have a bow AND a crossbow. They're almost the same...
